Passion fruit farming

Passion fruit farming requires a warm, tropical or subtropical climate with plenty of sunlight and well-drained, fertile soil. The plant thrives in soil with a pH between 6.5 and 7.5 and can be grown from seeds or cuttings, with cuttings often producing quicker results. Passion fruit vines are typically planted on trellises or fences to support their climbing nature. Regular watering is essential, but the soil must never become waterlogged. Fertilizing the plants with organic matter or balanced fertilizers helps boost growth, and it's crucial to monitor for pests and diseases. Harvesting typically occurs 12 to 18 months after planting, when the fruit turns a deep color and falls from the vine, indicating ripeness.
